Hermit Location

• The Hermit is found in the southwest corner of the yellow search area in the mountains of Apollonia. Follow small roads leading to his hut, which is nestled between two large rocks. He can be found either inside his hovel or in the yard nearby.

Quest Steps

1. Gather Information:
   • Speak with Innkeeper Betty in Troskowitz to start learning about the Hermit.
   • Talk to villagers, including Gerda and Stanislav, to gather clues. This may involve passing skill checks or offering Groschen (in-game currency).
2. Investigate Clues:
   • Visit a cross near Troskowitz and dig up items such as Groschen, Crusader cloth, and documents that provide background on the Knights of the Cross.
3. Confront the Hermit:
   • Travel to the Hermit’s hut in Apollonia and interrogate him using dialogue options based on gathered clues.
   • The Hermit reveals he is not Ambrose but a friend of his, wrongly accused by the Knights of the Cross.
4. Find the Grave:
   • After speaking with the Hermit, locate the true Hermit’s grave. It is under a beech tree slightly north of the “E” objective marker on your map.
   • Loot the grave to retrieve the Hermit’s Sword.
